Day 1: Depart to Taormina

Explore the hilltop town on the east coast of Sicily. Taormina sits near Mt. Etna, an active volcano. Taormina is known for Teatro Antico di Taormina. It's a charming little town that has some beautiful views with picturesque beaches.

Day 2: Ruins in Taormina

Leave for Cefalu at 2 pm
Arrive in Cefalu at 5pm

Cefalu is a small coastal city in northern Sicily. We will spend a few hours exploring the
medieval streets and architecture. Cefalu is known for its Norman Cathedral, which was
founded in 1131. Cefalu holds a lot of history being that its first settlement dates back to prehistoric times.

Day 3: Leave for Castellammare at 11am

2pm arrive in Castellammare Dinner in the port of Castellammare HOTEL IN CASTELLAMMARE UNTIL THE END OF THE TRIP Castellammare del Golfo which the name can be translated as “Sea Fortress on the Gulf” supplies some of Sicily’s most beautiful coast. Castellammare is a quaint fishing village and is now a great location to have a beach day or to just walk around and take in the history. In the middle of the port village you will see a grand Arab- Norman castle, this was built around the XI century to protect the port from pirates. While visiting you will learn all about the history and how it was later transitioned to other uses.

Day 4: Wine day in Marsala

A full immersion into wine day. Many do not know this but Sicily has produced its own wine, Marsala. Spending a day on the Trapani coast will allow you to visit a special wine cellar that was founded in 1833, Cantine Florio. There is a lot of history to this region and seeing it first hand is indescribable.
